Refund Policy

Formal Documentation Status

This document was last reviewed and ratified on March 08, 2026. All operational protocols described herein are currently active and binding.

1. The "Immediate Resource Allocation" Principle

WaecUpgrade operates on a high-availability decentralized network where core resources—including computational mining nodes, high-priority encryption cycles, and human verification auditors—are allocated and "reserved" the moment you initiate a synchronization request. Because these resources represent real computational costs and are non-recoverable once committed, our refund policy is intentionally stringent and prioritized towards network stability.

By making a payment to the WaecUpgrade gateway, you are purchasing an "Allocation Slot" on the blockchain bridge. This slot is reserved exclusively for your candidate metadata and cannot be easily re-allocated once the handshake process has begun.

2. 48-Hour Partial Refund Window (The "Cooling Off" Period)

You are eligible for a partial refund only if your request is submitted within 48 hours of your initial transaction registration, and ONLY if the status of your synchronization is still in the "Awaiting Authorization" or "Pending Verification" phase.

⚠️ STRICT REFUND CALCULATIONS:

  • Requests within 0-24 hours: 70% Refund. 30% is retained to cover initial node spin-up, database mirroring costs, and cryptographic key generation.
  • Requests within 24-48 hours: 40% Refund. 60% is retained due to the higher level of priority commitment and the reservation of human security auditors for your virtual call.
  • Requests after 48 hours: 0% Refund (Zero Exceptions). After 48 hours, the resources are fully committed and non-recoverable.

3. Zero Refund Conditions (Absolute)

WaecUpgrade will NOT issue a refund under any circumstances if any of the following events occur during your synchronization cycle:

  • Handshake Initiation: Once you click the "Trigger Handshake" button or once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain, the funds are permanently funneled into the network hash-rate and cannot be reversed by any human agent.
  • Virtual Verification Failure: If you fail to attend the mandatory Virtual Verification Call, if you are unable to provide valid government ID, or if our auditors determine that your identification documents are fraudulent or mismatched, the application is terminated and no refund will be issued.
  • Process Latency & Reflection Time: Refunds are NOT granted if the synchronization takes longer than the estimated 14-28 days. Regional server traffic, database maintenance windows, and institutional firewall updates are outside our direct control.
  • Institutional Detection & Backlash: If after a successful synchronization, your university, employer, or national educational board detects the grade synchronization and takes disciplinary action (e.g., certificate revocation), WaecUpgrade is not liable for "failed utility" and will not issue a refund.
  • User Error: If you provide an incorrect index number, examination year, or subject list, and the handshake is attempted against those incorrect details, no refund will be issued. Accuracy is the sole responsibility of the user.

4. Synchronization Failure (Technical Protocol Error)

The synchronization process interacts with complex, legacy regional infrastructures. Occasional failures occur due to advanced institutional firewalls, database encryption key rotation, or regional gateway timeouts at the educational body's node.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: AS STATED IN OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS, BETTERGRADES WOULD NOT BY ANY MEANS REFUND OR ENGAGE IN DISPUTES IF THE SYNCHRONIZATION FAILS FOR TECHNICAL REASONS BEYOND OUR DIRECT NETWORK CONTROL.

In the rare event of a total protocol mismatch, your account may be credited with a "Free Priority Retry" token for the next synchronization cycle. However, cash or crypto-currency refunds are not possible once the attempt has been logged in the blockchain transaction record.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the valid 48-hour window, you must send an email to priority@waecupgrade.sync with the following information:

- Order ID / Transaction Hash
- Full Name of Candidate
- Reason for Withdrawal
- Secure Wallet Address for Return Transfer

Requests made via unofficial channels will NOT be recognized for the "48-hour timestamp." The refund process, if approved, may take up to 7 business days to clear the decentralized treasury.

END OF REFUND POLICY • DOCUMENT ID: BG-RP-2026-F9 • REFUND_LIMIT: 48H_PARTIAL

By continuing to use WaecUpgrade, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms.
